Living Appropriately: Musings From a History Teacher in Colombia

About me

Greetings! My name is Andrew Leniton and I am in the middle of my 2nd year teaching history at Ivy Collegiate Academy in Taichung, Taiwan. My vision for this blog was initially twofold: first, simply as a great way to keep in touch with my friends and family back home, and secondly, possibly as a supplementary tool alongside my resume when applying for future jobs in the field of education. As I’m in just my second year teaching, the education portion of this blog will continue to be a work in progress over the next few years; I plan on eventually providing links to some of my favorite teaching tools and resources, as well as to other helpful education blogs that I might happen across. I’ve also been enjoying making posts from time to time about some of my favorite books, quotes, people, and music, so feel free to check out the appropriate links for that stuff too if you’re so inclined. I am planning on trying to make at least one post a week, so it should be fun to see where it may eventually lead. Thanks for visiting!
